Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete the information we hold about you. This page explains how, and what to expect. It applies whether you use FutureWhisper directly or came to us through WhatsApp, Facebook, or Instagram.
How to ask
Email mohajeranisanaz@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request". Please tell us:
- your name,
- the email address of your FutureWhisper account (account holders), or the WhatsApp number you used to record (recorders),
- what you want deleted: your whole account, certain recordings, or just your contact details.
We may ask you to confirm it is really you. We will not ask for a password.
What happens next
- We reply within 30 days. We confirm what we will delete, what we cannot, and why.
- We delete what you asked us to delete from our live systems.
- We confirm when it is done.
What we delete
- Account holders: your account details and the information you entered about recorders and recipients.
- Recorders: your name, WhatsApp number, and the text replies you sent us.
- Recordings: we will look at each request. A recording belongs to the account holder who invited the recorder. Where the law gives you the right to have your information erased, we will honor it. If a request involves a message that was already delivered to someone, or a family message that other account holders also hold, we will explain what can be done.
- Messages already delivered: a recipient who has already received a message holds it. We cannot remove what a person has already heard or been given.
What we may have to keep
- A record of the consent you gave, with its date and wording, so we can show what you agreed to.
- Information we are required by law to keep, or need to handle a legal claim.
Backups
Backup copies are protected from deletion for a set period (currently up to 90 days) and are removed once that period ends. A deleted recording may therefore remain in a backup, unreachable by normal use, for up to that time.
If you came through Facebook or Instagram
Removing FutureWhisper from your Facebook or Instagram settings does not delete the information we hold. To delete it, send the email request above.
